I look to the sky for help
Your face appears, but your not here
Still I see you softly engraved in the clouds
I reach out to touch
Wind blows softly
Accepting my cry for help
A cold kiss to my skin
The wind cries my silent scream.
Blowing harder your face drifts with the breeze
Still I look to the sky for help

Helpless
Reaching to the sky just asking for your help. In the dark sky you can see the faces on clouds. The faces who are supposed to be there to help. The ones who are supposed to grasp your hand and pull u through the darkness. To the place with light. A place of warmth, but you only see that as you close your eyes, it’s a safe haven, however when they open again, your back frozen reaching for help. Its like a movie as the faces of those who could help just drift away with the clouds each one hurts more and more, you stay frozen here till finally a light breaks through you feel the warmth, the joy, the happiness of someone there to help. Yet the clouds come back as you sit and wonder why only one hand reached down to grab yours. And the others blew away with the wind. Wondering what happened to the faces that just passed by and let you fall deeper and deeper into a black hole. You feel hopeless. Again your just reaching to the sky asking for help, and this time your prepared, yet you still wonder what happened to the people you thought would be there.

A True Hero
Page:1
1/6/11India has an extreme problem with young girls being forced into sex trafficking starting as young as age six, as well as others who are pregnant or already have kids. Not many people are standing up to help those who are held captive. The women are horribly mistreated, being beaten abused, and whatever else there master or owner so chooses. However one Anuradha Koirala stands up and has safe houses for them. Helping the young girls being forced and sold for sex has become Anuradha’s life journey, and she stands where no one else dares. Anuradha is a hero who has done so much to help others putting there happiness before hers; she is doing what no one man or woman has even attempted in India, and has shown nothing but love and compassion for those held captive.
Anuradha Koirala has help save the lives of many women forced into sex trafficking. In India all women must earn respect and Anuradha has definitely done that. Not only does Anuradha give girls a safe house, raids are run patriotically to save them, and they are also rehabilitated afterwards. The raids are what save most of the people. Anuradha and her organization run tons of raids a year Its hard because once the girls are being trafficked, they feel hopeless, scared and don’t know who to turn to, Anuradha gives them someone. Without the raids, half of the girls would not have been saved.

Many girls are easily taken from homes with promise of good high paying jobs. Deals that seem to good to be true normally are, family’s jump at the idea of there daughters having a better life, because it is so poor there. Family’s don’t know what they are getting into and don’t know it till all of a sudden there baby is gone. People do hear about the scam but everyone wants better for there kids, India is poor, any one would jump at the opportunity for a better life. With sex trafficking being such a big problem you would think many would stand up and fight against it but they don’t. Anuradha is one of the few who stands up and fights off the issue. The biggest safe house for girls who are rescued is run by Anuradha. One would think with this being as big of an issue as it is more would be done to prevent it. There are no other organizations like Anuradha’s. Its tough consider that this is someone else’s business its how they make there living and its sick but they are not just going to hand the girls over nicely, and that’s why not many others try to stand up for it. She has been the most successful, and has saved so many lives. Although no other big organizations have lasted or serve the same cause as Anuradha’s, some of her saved victims have stood up and given money to help, or attempted to start a little branch and be just like Anuradha’s. Maybe one day this problem will go away or at least there will be more programs to prevent all of this.
Helping women in sex trafficking has been Anuradha’s life work. She is now 61 and still kicking and passionate as ever for her cause. She has been working since 1993 or at least that’s when it was first recorded. Anuradha and her organization have saved as many as 12,000 girls if not more. However 10,000 to 15,000 girls a year are trapped in

India and sexually exploited according to the U.S state department. Why Is more not being done. Why is it only one older lady standing up to fight an untouched army? However, now that it has been proven that it is possible to save the girls others are sure to follow.Anuradha Koirala is flat out a modern day hero. She has stood up for something no one else had the courage to. She has saved so many lives and help rehab the victims. Her life’s work has been a big success and I am sure is extremely appreciated by those saved. However those who know about it should look at what she is doing and understand how hard it really is. It is one lady and her organization against an army, would you have the courage to stand up and do what she does?

A Perfect Day
Song Lyrics
10 years today, Bullet for my Valentine
Ten years ago, I got a call that nearly killed meRepeat yourself my hands are shaking
When I was told my friend was gone I felt so guilty
A thousand questions left unanswered
I'll bleed if you want me to
I'll serenade before I do
I'll bleed if you want me to
On and on although you're gone
Candles burn without a flame on
Our final call to you - I know you're listening
How could you leave us that way
Where did you go, ten years today
Ten years ago, I stood beside the wood that held you
I must sit down my legs are shaking
We let you go, with gifts and plectrums for your journey
And melodies to help you on your way
I'll bleed if you want me to
I'll serenade before I do
I'll bleed if you want me to
On and on although you're gone
Candles burn without a flame on
Our final call to you - I know you're listening
How could you leave us that way
Where did you go, ten years today
I'll bleed if you want me to
I'll bleed if you want me to
I'll bleed if you want me to
On and on although you're gone
Candles burn without a flame on
Our final call to you - I know you're listening
How could you leave us that way
Where did you go, ten years today
Where did you go, ten years today
Where did you go, ten years today
Where did you go
How could you leave us that way
Where did you go, ten years today
The song I chose was ten years today by Bullet for my Valentine. This song has a lot of meaning to me because its about loosing a friend, having regret, anger, wishing you could have done more, and still thinking about the person.
Rhymes are used at the sad part to slow the song down and kind of emphasize it, the rhythm is the exact same way
